7 days to die is a typical example of a hidden talent that for a long time remained in the shadow of its more successful and nimble comrades: DAYZ, Rust and others. For a long time 7 days, square, miserable, unoriginal and buggy, looked at his fellows and scrupulously looked after features for success, while they collected tons of money on dummies, corrected the balance, supplemented the content. And now, sales of the day-zine have already fallen, because the snickering developers have stopped making it, interest in survival games with two pistols and an ax has subsided, disappointment in early access has come. The heyday of 7days begins. A big graphics patch is being rolled out, content is being balanced and put in order, the recipe system is being rethought, skills are being completed and expanded over the course of another year, the amount of content is increasing, developers are screwing more and more goodies for the final release of the project. Is he needed? Unlike other games where updates are released every six months and do not contain anything significant - this is really not necessary. Not only that, every time I go into the game and look at the version (by the way, I advise you to set the pre-alpha in the settings - it is quite stable), I wait for updates. And these updates are very noticeable - it´s some kind of fucking Christmas! Perhaps the game lacks realism in graphics (the picture is very specific), but this is the only negative that I can highlight. But there are a ton of pluses! Here you have a ready-made huge detailed map and random generation (even more interesting than the finished map, although the generation is still crooked), and an open, completely destructible world, and systems of skills, development, crafting, a large amount of content (loot, weapons, buildings - yes -yes, you can make many different blocks for building and not walls-floor-ceiling-here´s the type of construction), physics of objects, a bunch of additional stray in the form of quests-treasures-merchants, transport (one, but what a one!), a fully interactive world, all this is wrapped into the built-in customizable (difficulty, loot, private) single / co-op / multiplayer server and without any bugs! Seriously, for more than 100 hours of playing with a friend on the server, there were no crashes-crashes. All this for a price three times lower than for similar projects (there is simply no content. You buy early access - servers lag, there are few varieties of loot, there is almost no construction, updating every six months - all this is for an overdose of money), but here the price is like to buy beer after work - while the game surpasses all these projects completely.
