You are the viceroy of the Scorched Queen, appointed by her in order to subjugate the barren wastelands and find the lost treasures of the Smoldering City, the last bastion of civilization, miraculously resisting the Rotten storm that destroyed the old world.

In most city-building simulators with survival elements, you control just one city, but in Against the Storm your task is to build a huge network of prosperous settlements in which different fantastic peoples will live, differing from each other in their way of life , needs and skills.

Many unexpected threats await you in undeveloped lands, and incessant storms will prevent your charges from rebuilding.

You will lose your settlements, expeditions will fail , but this does not mean defeat. Against the Storm is a roguelike-lite game, which means that even if you fail, you can continue your mission, retaining the resources, upgrades and experience from previous campaigns.
