Thanks to a symbiotic fusion of the biological and digital worlds, this former Vault Hunter turned assassin has evolved into a superior life form. Equipped with top-tier cybernetics, Gaige shares her psyche with a digital virus of her own creation; this virus can digitally manifest the physical form of "Deathtrap" to act as a lethal extension of their shared will to achieve perfection.

Gaige’s abilities are aggressive and agile. She utilizes a cybernetic arsenal to destroy enemies, dealing Corrosive and Radiation damage. Throw her "Plague Star" shuriken to slice through crowds of enemies while spreading devastating "Contagion," outsmart opponents with the stealthy distraction of her "Neuro-Node Visual Paradox"—which can cloak Gaige and leave a decoy in her place—or unleash her Malignant Construct on targets and watch as her symbiote companion, Deathtrap, destroys them with tail strikes and toxic breath. Gaige’s active skills gain added utility through powerful, short-cooldown bursts of energy called "Functions" and highly effective finishing moves known as "Executables."
