**RETURN TO TERPILOV**
Roman
Igor Sviridov was once a renowned investigative journalist. Now his career is ruined, his family is lost, and he has only three weeks left to try to change anything.
It is at this moment that he receives a call from an old friend – the chief of police in the small town of Terpilov, near Moscow, which Igor left many years ago.
Strange murders are occurring in Terpilov. The victims are influential people with far from spotless pasts. The criminals act with minimal traces, leaving short messages near the dead: "Enough!"
The police have a single lead: a local newspaper car spotted near the crime scene.
Under a false name, Igor gets a job as a reporter for the Terpilovskaya Pravda newspaper. He must gain the trust of his new colleagues and determine which of them is connected to the killers.
But very soon, the investigation ceases to be a routine journalistic assignment. Returning to the city of his childhood, Igor simultaneously returns to his own past—to a place where familiar streets hold other people´s secrets, old memories prove more dangerous than new enemies, and the line between crime and retribution becomes increasingly blurred.
